On Sunday evening, our Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and wife Gursharan Kaur, had witnessed a special screening of ‘Peepli Live’ at his residence. And he had high praise for this Aamir Khan Production and said that the film is not only impressive but it also imparts a lesson. Thrilled about the special honour, director Anusha Rizvi quipped to sources, “It was very satisfying to hear the PM say that he liked the film and that it had a message which we must act on. He said it’s evident that there are two Indias in our country, and we must have a more inclusive approach. We felt very vindicated and humbled at his words.”

Besides Aamir and Anusha, present for the screening were the film’s main cast Raghuvir Yadav and Omkar Das Manikpuri.
